Terms & Conditions 

TERMS OF STAY:
All rates quoted are in Australian dollars and inclusive of 10% GST.

Rates as quoted are per room per night based on twin share of the room using existing bedding. Additional bedding may be available on request at an additional charge.
Online Rates are subject to change without notice.
Official Check-In time is 2.00pm onward and Check-Out time is 10.00am.
Request for early check-in and/or late checkout maybe granted depending on Room availability, our best efforts will be undertaken to accommodate you.

Check-out can be extended until 12.00pm at a charge of $20. A full day rate will be charged for staying beyond 12.00pm.
The registered guest must be over 18 years of age and present a photo ID at the time of check-in.
The registered guest will be held financially responsible for any loss or damage to property caused during their stay.

The number of guests gathered in the hotel room overnight must not exceed the sleeping capacity of the room type.
All visitors must vacate the room by 10pm.

A valid credit card is required to guarantee all room bookings and the card holder must be the primary registered guest.
For reservations made via third party websites or agencies a valid credit card belongs to the primary registered guest must be presented on arrival.

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners or direct deposit. Payment by Amex or Diners card attracts a 3% surcharge.

By providing credit card details you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise The Greenmount Hotel to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card.

We may ask you for a copy of your drivers license, proof of age card or passport. This must be current with your correct address and is to be provided upon request at check in.

Greenmount Hotel reserves the right to reallocate particular rooms when necessary.

Any modification to a reservation is subject to the hotel’s availability at the time the modification is requested and may change the rate and/or require payment of cancellation fees.

The Greenmount Hotel will endeavour to provide the accommodation requested but reserves the right to refuse requests for bookings or actual bookings due to insufficient information or excessive numbers of requests.


CANCELLATION POLICY:
No refund can be given in the event of non-arrival, any unused services or unused nights due to flight / weather disruption. We recommend that you protect yourself with travel insurance.
In addition to the general cancellation policies The Greenmount Hotel reserves the right to charge full payment of the booking in advance and any cancellation is subject to a full cancellation fee equalling to the total accommodation charge for the intended duration of the stay.

Smoking inside the hotel is strictly prohibited. This includes guest rooms, lobby area, dining area, function rooms, toilets, and public spaces within the premises.

SECURITY DEPOSIT/ CREDIT CARD AUTHORISATION:
As part of our check in process, on arrival at the hotel, all reservations will require a pre-authorisation with a credit/debit card to cover incidentals during your stay. We accept American Express, Diners, MasterCard & Visa. Without the above mentioned credit card (pre-auth) bond, we can accept a cash security deposit at time of check-in.
A pre-authorisation is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the available balance on a credit or debit card. The pre-authorisation is not a charge and no funds have been debited from your account, however your bank statement may show the pre-authorisation as a ‘Pending Transaction’.
The pre-authorisation will affect your available funds and / or spending limit. For more information on this practice we suggest the cardholder contact their card issuer.

When you give us a credit/debit card, the pre-authorisation guarantees us that the funds are available to pay for any charges incurred up to the value of the transaction.

The amount of fund that we pre-authorise is $100 per room. 
Once a pre-authorisation has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the authorised amount, until we process the final account on departure. This is a restriction placed on us by the bank and cannot be negotiated.

We reserve the right to reject bookings, evict and / or remove guests who cannot provide enough bond to cover potential damage / charges.

Cash bonds will NOT be refunded until a complete inspection of the vacant room by our staff has been conducted.

Greenmount Hotel has strict NO PARTY POLICY to ensure we can protect the hotel from damage and maintain it to the standard expected by our guests. Our policy is also to ensure all our guests can enjoy their time with us and not be inconvenienced through noise or actions of others.

The Greenmount Hotel will not accept a reservation when the intent is to have a party or function within the hotel room or on the hotel premises. The hotel will monitor any music, noise and complaints from other guests and one warning will be given to reduce noise/disturbance. If this warning is not followed the guest will forfeit all payments and must leave immediately. Your accommodation tariff will not be refunded. The number of guests gathered in the room overnight must not exceed the sleeping capacity of the apartment.

All visitors must vacate the room by 10.00pm.
